Kompose is the Linux equivalent to Expose in Mac. Installing Kompose is hard, it requires so many other software already existed before it can be installed. In a way, that’s good, because I can learn how to install a software directly from source, ie. tar.zip.

From here, we first unzip the file, then configure it to set up some variables, then make, and then make install. Need to know what each of those steps mean.

Wanted to find the shortcut for the workspace changer, but couldn’t find it. Something to consider in the future.

Some things to study on in the next little while.

  • Relational Database from 354 book and the complete book
  • MySQL play around
  • Linux and Unix API
  • Read the OSX MVC model
What is Ubuntu One? It’s like dropbox, but got a feeling there’s more to it.
