be proud of what not to do

Reading off innovation of Steve Jobs, found here.

One of the things that came to me was being proud of what not to do. Doing something really great often means saying no to a million other things. This is hard to do, and don’t spread myself too thin.

If I’m an Apple fan, then stick with it. Don’t try to be a developer of all platforms. Go with the horses that are on their way up, instead of it being waning. If I do Kinect with Visual Studios, then stick with it and do something fun with it, instead of spreading myself thin again.

Am I a video codec expert, or pretending to know it all?
